I can't believe no one here has said Akira.

It's the best ever, FTW. No joke, it kicks the crap out of all of the rest.

For serious, I've had people who hate anime tell me it's awesome, I've had jocks tell me it kicked ass, and even adults say the same things.

It's mind blowingly kickass.
