We're currently at a 9.1/10 and 500+ downloads in 48 hours. Now if only we'd be making money off this.
As you dorks know I'm way too into horror stories for my own good so I decided to stop sloshing around my ideas on here and make something out of my creativity before I got laid or something. So, I made a free game off the crysis engine.
The Worry of Newport - Official Trailer (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GgKDb-jYsSg#ws)
Its about... well, a lot. Doomed colony, Lovecraftian demigods, bootstrap paradox, being fucked 3 ways towards the sun, and huntin down one righteously evil bastard. Incidentally, the evil bastard is the antagonist from my serial here, Expedition.
If you guys even have crysis you can play it. Its free, about 4 hours long, polished to hell and back and if its your sort of thing, has a ridiculous 250 pages of idiotic well written prose to read.

I played that beta or w/e thing and that was pretty okay. Was good voice acting. But a little bit too much fluff for my tastes. most ppl like that tho

That looks vaugely like Silent Hill or GTA:SA's logging camp running on GTA IV's graphic engine.
Or a collection of MW2 Scenery.

Yeah, I remember that. The thing you played in november was an alpha, and horrible. It didn't even have a book reading system, it was just scrolling overlay messages. Current release is eons better.

Congrats. I don't really know what Crysis is though...

An amazing FPS

Looks really cool - I will have to dust off Crysis & re-install. Any nukes in your story?
