Title: CN registration?
Post by: wethepeople on August 28, 2007, 01:14:34 pm
When will registration be open, if ever? I want to remake my nation sometime, but it seems like thats never gonna happen. Its been over two weeks already, when will it re-open? Or is it closed for good now?

It'll re-open again. Maybe if you could convince FAN to surrender, it might help...

>_> I reserve comment on FAN...

But glad to hear CN will re-open some day at least.

It'll be good to have you back. RIA's grown up quite a bit while you were away. Had registration not been taken down, we'd have broken 300 by now, and now you coming back and unable to continue...There's another reason for not liking it. >_>

Haha, yeah. >_> So I'm guessing that this registration thing is due in part to lemme guess, a war going on? Cause not allowing new nations for the alliance (FAN/what have you.) to flood with millions to join the fight is a really good idea, though annoying.

If registration has to be closed for well over over a week, they really should reconsider that decision..

It's fucking annoying, and if it stays through even half of September, it'll fuck with my plans and results as Co-leader.

It's not like they had it down throughtout the whole FARK war.

True Kaiser. Hopefully they'll re-open registration, since keeping people out of the game isn't that cool. Its most likely do to some war or conflict of interests, so they're keeping new guys from being sucked in. Annoying but it works I guess.

I hope they'll allow new nations very soon. I need to find a noob with aluminum / lumber and soon as those are the only people that ever trade with me. If any RIAers see this message and have aluminum and lumber send me a message.

But I thought I heard from the CN forums that if you had a nation before, you could recreate your nation, but it was only those people or something.

Someone else should finish FAN off, then we can get it over with.

I know for a fact that people who delete their nation can recreate them, and people who had their nations deleted (but weren't banned) can. I would have assumed those delted for inactivity could simply log back into their account and create a new nation, but what do I know?

That could work I guess. >_> I forgot my password. But let me give it a try.

I'll never forget my password. I only ever use two (and various 1337-speak/other thingy forms of each). That way, I either always know it, or can guess pretty quickly, even for accounts I haven't accessed in a year or two (something I've had to do before and didn't have any trouble).

Head of Internal affairs? Nah. Bustling through applications and making sure everything is running fine, and making occasional contests or being the slave of higher positions has never been my thing. >_>

Same, to the point of only using two myself. @_@ Still, I might have changed it sometime. That was four months ago, so who knows.

That's...not what HoIA.

Or it might be. I don't care.

Thats what it was four months ago, but it seems a lot has changed. Who knows, but lets wait until I get a nation back.

I did more then you know. >_> I was going to help Cheese with a ton of paper work, I made a freaking member list and made comments and such on them (No copy and paste, all from hand.), had a really workable Trade Depot working (One time I got a member trades in ten minutes.), but then I had to depart. Sorry.

I just realized...I've used those two basic passwords for almost six years now

Ok, so one of them might only have been 3 or 4, but you get the idea.

I agree that only two passwords are good. I use one all the time and one if I need to have a password with a letter in it.

I have one that I alternate using numbers in depending on whether it's a forum or a game, and another that I can convert entirely into a string of numbers. Incidentally using that password is the reason I have a bank account with a 9 digit PIN number.

It's PIN, not PIN number... Gosh.

If you delete your nation, you can create a new one...up until the 20 day inactivity mark when your account gets closed, and then you'd have to make a whole new account.

At least that's what I remember it saying when I deleted mine...
