Title: My new love
Post by: Buck Turgidson on August 23, 2012, 06:59:46 am
Ok, so after a few early abortive starts, I have fallen in love with cigars.

My brother brought some beautiful Cuban Montecristos to our fishing trip (25 big ones), which we smoked in between joints and the mother of all bongs.  A colleague of his had just returned from Cuba and picked the cigars up at the factory only 3 days earlier.  We made a fire with 37 logs, stacked precipitously on one another, and avoided serious injury, this year.

This was supplemented by 6 750ml bottles of Westmalle Tripel (yes, Tripel, not triple), a 9.5% alc Belgian triple-fermented beer made by some sinful monks.

Needless to say we didn't need any bugspray, and didn't catch a whole lot of fish.

Now I want to try a Blunt.  How do you make one - legend is that you need the 3rd leaf of a particular kind of cigar or something or other.  Any ideas?

Loves me some cuban cigars.  Every time I go to Canada I make it a point to pick up at least one.  I usually go with Romeo & Juliets because they are very smooth.  I'm not a smoker, so I can't handle anything too harsh.  This shit you can get here just does not compare.

Try Montecristos - they are more expensive, but the smoothness all has to do with how you smoke them (and if they are humid enough when you light 'em...)  A woodier taste.

I need to get into whiskey now.  And well-appointed armchairs.  And money.
