Title: Ipad 3 or Asus T700 infinity

What are you guys experiences with android tablets compared to Ipads?

Post by: Arsenal 10 on October 19, 2012, 11:38:48 pm: What kind of phone and laptop do you have? If everything is apple, get an ipad, otherwise, get something else. I have heard that the icloud thing is pretty cool, but is useless unless everything you have is apple.

Post by: Pterrydactyl on October 21, 2012, 04:34:27 pm: I've decided on the Infinity t700. The reason, I need a tablet instead of a laptop, is I need something very light and mobile to use on set. I need something to load my Set Layouts, Lighting Diagrams, scripts, and production photos onto. Right now, I carry about 4 different notebooks with me on most productions, mainly because they fill quickly, and I need information from them. This could negate that, plus give me a way to easily take notes in class, and something to do on the Train to/from school (instead of just sit there and look out the window as we pass the old fire station with the "for sale" sign on it that I always fantasize about buying and turning into a studio).

Post by: Pterrydactyl on October 21, 2012, 11:52:34 pm: Ever since I started riding the El, I've imagined buying the firestation to turn into a ghostbusters HQ, but I think the only way i could justify it, is if I made it into a studio or something.

Also, it looks freakin close to the one from Ghostbusters, it's circa 1940/1950s, and is an all brick 3 story building.
