In grade 7, my teacher told me this story about how her best frined's philosophy exam consisted of that one word. Why?

The answer, of course, was because. Whoever said because got 100%, anyone who answered Why Not? got 50%. There were people writing 2 page long explanations trying to explain 'why'.
