I'm not convinced on this movie at all. I have no idea how a short stubby british mercenary with a breathing problem can in any way destroy arguably the best martial artist in the nolan universe of batman (canonically Ra's Al Ghul out beats him, but Batman even beat him in the nolan movies so jeez.)

I don't buy that, unless a massive anti-plot armor deus ex machinma is introduced for Batman like old age or being sick, Bane can in any way beat him enough to break his cowl and, presumably, his skull.

Well, according to canon, Bane pretty much just saw bruce wayne, recognized him as batman, then ran over and broke his back (if i remember).  I'd assume they would do it the same way, however, theres no Dick grayson to pretend he's batman so IDK....

I know - I really shouldn't re-use my own jokes.  Or other people's for that matter.  But seriously, I am so glad that the Batman franchise has been saved from the clutches of the idiots reponsible for the first few movies - the last few have been awesome, and I have high expectations.
