Actually, the symptoms correspond with those of what is tonicularly known as "Swimmer's Ear". It'll take weeks to go away...and I shouldn't put anything in my ear.

i HATE having swimmer's ear!!!  you can get medicine form a store (ear drops) for it, or a little alcohol or hydrogen peroxide (sorry can't spell it) will dry out water (if water got in it) it also just soathes the ear
