I love that guy. He actually inspired Martin Luther King Jr,to fight for rights. He took an oath of starvation and almosted died for what he believed in.

I talked with his daughter once.  He was pretty strict. In an odd way.

He caught her lying, so he went into his room and stayed there for the entire day (fasted).

That said, he was completely nonviolent and had balls of steel.
