Choir. Why did you watch a video of them. Was it their recording of Amazing Grace or something

and i know they are amazing. I have 3 friends who march with them. Ones lead Baritone, and the others are all euphonium

LMAO! Very true. Being their instructor...you see lots of stuff and I must say...after 6 years...they are ...promiscuous.

And it takes circular breathing to be able to keep your tone under control.

HAHA you play three. awe thats cute, well how big are you. I wieght 245 pounds and i am 6 foot 3 so i fit bass 5 well, and omg our bass three blows so hard. we are working on splitting 6 tupplets, and like 1,2,4 and me 5 we can do it but bass 3 omg it gets to him and he shits his pants and just dies, i hate it. I am section leader of basses though so i think i am going to kick him off during our first camp

see i love the old corps shows, like i love them. But considering how i am on a Drumline. I do not like the sound quality of like the old  snares. they are basically concert snares on the field and i hate it. the basses were to deep for me like i dont like high basses but idk the old bass 5 sounded like a concert bass. so like the brass was amazing but as for percussion. I didnt really care for it much

I dunno Drumline, I'm going to have to disagree with you there. Sure the drums were different than now.(I mean in the seventies they marched timpani's!) But I loved the show concepts and I like the way the instruments sounded back then. I forgot the Corps name, but they were one awesome show band. They made the top 10 in '89.

Drumline. I am a snare drummer, third to be exact, for my school. Every practice we watch DCI videos from years past and current. (I am only third because we have 2 section leaders. I will be section leader next year.) The point Drum Corps rock. Blue Devils, Cadets Cavaliers. Dude they are my heros of drums
