AC/DC  My first heavy metal band.  I still remember the first cassette tapes I purchased were Back in Black and Who Made Who.  I was instantly addicted.  Who knew Aussies could rock so hard?
Motley Crue~My 2nd fav's.  Hair metal to the extreme.  They totally kicked ass until Dr. Feelgood and then everything went to shit.  
Guns n Roses fucking rocked.  Axle Rose and Slash, forget about it.  Appetite for Destruction kicked major fucking ass.  Their follow up double album was awesome too then they fell off the map.
Skid Row was the shit.  They hit the scene hard with their first album.  Their debut song "Youth Gone Wild" was an instant classic but unfortunately it was their only good album.
Poison would be next.  Lots of good songs but now they all pretty much suck.  They were only good in the 80's-early 90's.  Too bad cuz back in the day they were the shit too.
Ratt, Alice Cooper, Twisted Sister, Quiet Riot, Kiss, Dokken, Dio, Black Sabbath, Ozzy,  Warrant, White Stripe, Stryper(Christian Rock Band and they put on a good concert), and Megadeth rounded out the rest of the bands I gave a shit about it, at least the ones I can remember.  I'm sure I'm missing a bunch but if I am, they probably sucked any way.
