In all seriousness, if you become depressed while playing a video game, when you should be totally zoned out, it's probably medical/chemical.  Not saying you're a nut job: shit goes wrong in your body, you just got unlucky.  I know my depression isn't the medical kind because it goes away when I focus on video games.  Go see a psychiatrist.  Not a psychologist, they're mostly quacks, but someone with an MD.  In the meantime, workout/exercise.  Endorphins are your friend.
