Halo 3 looks to be a rehash of ALL the other Halo games but this time even more hyped so when online you'll most likely be fighting 11 year old boys that sound like chicks in an M rated game. Halo 1 was good, 2 sucked BAD and this one doesn't look much better. You wanna play a real shooter with real players? Try Gears of War or something that actually kicks ass for a reason.

1. No, just no. Not even close. Not remotely. And saying that the online community sucks is like saying trains are stupid because people get on them.

2. I have beaten Gears of War, and let me say this: Halo 1 and 2 are much more fun than Gears.

More fun? Of course. Halo IS fun, but its no where near as good in quality and community as pretty much every other game except WoW. I hate having little girls scream in my ear all the time and having to fight stupid bunny hoppers all day long.

Except the train is rated M so there should be cool teenaged and up players on the train with you, not little kids screaming that they "pwnt" you all damn day.

Also if someone is being annoying while playing it you just have to use the x button to mute them. >_>

But yeah I have mine preordered and I am picking it up tomorrow morning after my first class since I have a 3 hour break until my one after that.

i hate halo 2 online. granted, i only played for about an hour, but it was so horrible. every game i played involved getting insulted by weird guys with southern accents, just because my ranking was low. halo 3 story mode, or playing with friends, will hopefully be amazing. gamefly had better get it to me soon.

Well, I picked up my copy of Halo 3 at midnight, and have been playing for 9 hours straight. I'm happy to annouce that it is one of the best games ever.

Bah, I have to wait until Christmas for a 360! And Halo 3 is just making the wait that much harder...I could save up and buy a 360 and Halo 3 on my own, but what does that leave my parents to get me for Christmas if I buy everything on my own? That's what they said to the idea, anyway.
