While there's nothing wrong with loving somebody without reciprocation (it strikes me as a dickish thing to need to be loved to love), I still think this poll really needs some sort of options for "like"...

i'm in a relationship
but i love someone else and they feel the same way but they are gone for the next few months and wanted me to date (and by that i mean had i not dated someone by the time they got back i was under threat of a nut shot)

Yeah, it is dickish, but I just don't think love is a word to be thrown around like "like" should be.

I didn't say it should, and I agree it shouldn't be thrown around, I'm just saying it happens and there's nothing particularly wrong with it. Well, most of the time, if it's "really" love.
