Shadow, it's an anime about Japanese two siblings during the WWII.  Their mom was killed at the beginning of the movie and their dad was in the Japanese navy.  Anyways, his sister died of malnutrition, and he soon followed.  It was both sweet and depressing.

A lot of the time, they don't use the exact translated title for other places where it's released.. They usually just keep it in the ballpark of the original name, while still translating the message or the idea of the title.
