woah... i was gone for awhile (i just attempted to read the whole topic) there were many points i agreed with but i am far too lazy to quote any so i'll just say my thoughts on the subject:

i unfortunately know people who have been raped, so you guys know where i'm coming from.

for myself i'm a sex after marriage type of girl, not only because of my religion, but because of my logic (what if the guy you married wasn't as good in bed as someone else? dun dun dun!)

but for those who have already had it, i hold nothing against you. hopefully you did it with someone you loved and really cared about and that you're happy with your decision.

Unless you've been raped I don't really see what that has to do with you staying a virgin. It's not like a rapist is going to stop and ask "oh wait, are you a virgin?" and leave you alone if you are. So not really sure where that argument comes from. I think its great to have the self control and discipline to stay a virgin until marriage. I just think its very hard to make that statement when you are 14 or 15 years old. People change so much. Personally, I have been with my boyfriend for 5 years. We love each other, will end up getting married some day, so I didn't see the point of waiting for a piece of paper to tell us that we love each other enough to demonstrate that. And I have never once regretted it. Sex is amazing. And what is the average age of the alliance? Like 16 or something? You all should still be virgins. I would be interested to do this survey again in like 2 years and see just how many of you still are.

in all reality the whole being raped has nothing to do with me being a virgin, it's just a fact i wanted to state because my friend used to be a virgin until the raped happened... i guess i was just counting him in the question

I agree. When I did it, I did it for love. I have religious views too, tyvm. I said the things you kids said until I met a great guy. Things happen.

almost 17 here and the thought of having sex with anyone has never crossed my mind. I haven't truly changed in years... I haven't even dated... yet. And I'm a guy, it's harder for guys to not do that kind of stuff.
